Saturday the 24th of May saw the European Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai organize its 4th Gala Ball, Lets Go 2008 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Pudong.

Themed around the Olympics from ancient to modern times the night of celebration and festivity saw over 425 guests including Consulate Generals, top management from the largest of European Firms in China, a representative from the European Delegation and a surprise visit from the well known Gong Fu artist Jet Li.

With live entertainment and swinging music from Band 188 the party went on into the early hours of the morning with the event being praised as the best European Gala ball to date.

Jet Li’s One Foundation which works with the Red Cross was this year’s nominated Charity and received a generous contribution in support of the earthquake victims in Sichuan.
